Tonneau Covers

Tonneau covers (a.k.a. tonneaus, truck bed covers, tonnos, and lids) are simple truck accessories that attach to the bed of your vehicle. They protect the bed and its contents from weather and thieves. Tekstyle brand soft tonneau covers are well-known and a very popular brand - STK ProCover is a hard tonneau cover that is a great alternative to a soft tonno, which also locks shut.

Tonneau covers will not create extra cargo space. A tonneau cover is best for those who want the above-mentioned benefits, but prefer a low-profile solution and flexibility of deployment. Tonneau covers also reduce wind drag and so improve your fuel economy. Most are offered in black, including Tekstyle and ProCover tonneau covers, but colors are available. There are two types of tonneau: hard covers (made from plastic or fiberglass) and soft covers (made from vinyl).

• A tonneau cover forms a strong canopy cover over the truck bed
• Most tonneau covers will work with under-the-rail and over-the-rail bedliners.
• Most (including Tek Style covers) will not restrict the tailgate, allowing the tailgate to be opened without the need to remove the cover.
• Installation does not involve any drilling into the truck bed with most models of tonneau covers.
