New Accounts

All new accounts will automatically be shipped C.O.D., cash or certified funds. Request for an open account will be processed by our credit department upon receipt of a completed, signed and dated account credit agreement. Those requesting an open account will also be required to sign a security agreement.

Ordering

Customers may place orders Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). After hours we offer answering services and FAX machines to take orders 24 hours a day.

Shipping Time

Orders shipped via our own trucks are delivered the next business day unless otherwise specified. Freight carrier orders (FedEx, UPS, Courier Service, LTL, etc.) received by 5:00 p.m. are shipped the same day.

Minimum Volume Requirements

A minimum volume requirement may be established at our discretion in order to qualify for delivery by our truck or to maintain a wholesale customer status. A periodic review of accounts will be performed to determine if this status is in question. Minimums may change without notice based on market conditions.

Special Orders

Special order items are not returnable and non cancelable. A special order item shall be termed as any item that we do not stock in inventory. These items are not stocked because they are extremely slow movers. Special orders are placed strictly to accommodate our customers. Please do not ask us to take them back for any reason except due to a manufacturer defect. Any defect or damage in product must be brought to our attention upon your receipt of goods. Our salespeople will tell you if a part must be special ordered. Please help us to be as accurate as possible to avoid any problems with a special order item.

Warranty

Liability is limited to manufacturers’ warranties and will be processed according to their procedures. After inspection, defective merchandise will be replaced or repaired on a next trip basis. Any return freight charges will be the customer’s obligation.

Returned Goods

A returned goods notice (RGN) will be issued and must be signed upon return of merchandise. Any attempt to return goods without an RGN will be refused. Items returned after 15 days will be subject to a 15% restock charge. No items will be accepted for return after 30 days. Discontinued, non-stocking or special ordered items cannot be returned. Returns are subject to a freight and handling charge.

Damage and Claims

All claims for damages, shortages or errors on your order must be made upon receipt of the order.

Refused Orders

Any account refusing shipment of orders that they place must pay appropriate shipping and handling charges that apply before additional shipments can be made.

Delinquent Accounts

Past due accounts will be charged a monthly service charge of 1½% per month, 18% per annum, on any outstanding balance. A $35.00 returned check charge will be billed for each returned check on all accounts. We reserve the right to refuse shipment to any account which is in a delinquent status. Failure to resolve delinquency problems will result in the dissolution of our business relationship and/or the submission of the account to a collection attorney.
